IFW Blogging Contest - October 2013

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THE 30

OCTOBER 2013. STAY TUNED!

Dear Writers,

It gives me great pleasure to host this blogging contest here on the IFW Blog. The idea has been brewing in my mind for quite some time and I believe now is the right time to execute it. Below are all the details you will need. I hope to see enthusiastic participation from the Indian Freelance Writers community.

Deadline for Submission: 5 October, 2013

Theme: My Writer Story

(This could be anything – your journey as a writer, your successes, your failures and what you learnt from them, what inspires you to write, how you earned your dream income, what you did right as a writer and what you did wrong, what you deem important as a writer, what prompted you to take up writing as a profession, interview with a successful writer that you admire (or even your story in the form of an interview!), what you like/do not like about being a writer etc.) Here are some article ideas:

What every writer can learn from Warren Buffet?

How being a parent made me a better writer?
How I made Rs.XXXX in my first year as a writer?

Please note that these are only ideas - you have all the creative freedom to write what you want as long as it somehow connected with the theme. Articles that are rooted in personal experience and are likely to offer real value to readers will be highly preferred.
