Quality articles that are of interest to Indian writers are always welcome at the IFW Blog. If you would like to have your post featured with a byline on the IFW Blog, please send across your article ideas to shuch.singh at gmail dot com. There are of course some advantages in doing so:
- Get your writing published with your name and bio and use it as a published sample for prospective clients.
- Boost your online presence
- Get new readers and drive traffic to your blog/website.
- Show off your writing skills
- Build your brand and enhance your credibility as a writer
- Meet and interact with other writers from the IFW community
- Let prospective clients find you
- Get a free back link to your blog or website.
GUIDELINES FOR GUEST BLOGGERS
- Posts should be at least 700 words in length and preferably around 1000 words. Longer posts are also accepted.
- Please write on topics that will interest the target readership - articles/topic ideas that are not relevant to the blog, will not be considered for publication.
- Use of relevant keywords/keyphrases is recommended, though it is not mandatory.
- Write in a clear, crisp, reader-friendly tone.
- All posts should be submitted in a .doc/.docx format. Please do not paste content in the body of an email - it messes up the formatting.
- Use headings, subheadings and paragraphs to make the article interesting and easy to read. Add hyperlinks wherever necessary/appropriate.
- Provide a 2-3 line bio and link to website (if any) to go with the article. The bio should be included in the word document and not in the body of the email.
- If you are going to include pictures in the post, please send them across as separate attachment. Do not paste them within the word document.
- Article ideas that are rooted in personal experience will be highly preferred.
- While I don't mind unsolicited submissions, it would be nice if you pitch your article ideas and have them approved before working on them.
- Please note that guest posts at IFW Blog are not paid for. They are voluntary contributions by writers who would like to share their knowledge and experiences with the community.
NOTE: Submissions may be edited for style, structure, language and grammar before being published.
